Looks just like yesterday.. I was told, a new baby would be coming home.. The baby would be my best friend.. I hated the idea.. I simply did not want to share my mom dad's love.. The love, which was just for me.. I made sure I won't play with the new baby when he comes home.. I made sure, I would ignore him..
And then.. on 13th Oct 1986, I was told, the baby had come.. I was introduced to the baby.. Well, the baby ignored me :) He chose to sleep instead of waving his hand at me.. I wanted the baby to wake up so that I could tell him that I was THE PRINCESS.. and he was not to get the love that I deserved.. And just when I thought of doing so, he opened his tiny eyes.. looked at me.. and gave me a smile so beautiful.. my heart meleted.. and I realised.. I was in love.. for life.. for I had my life.. just in front of my eyes.. with a twinkle in his eyes.. a smile on his lips and innocence on his face.. He had his arms stretched out.. He wanted me to hug him.. And when I bent down to hug him.. he chuckled..
In a single second, he won me.. :) He made me hsi best friend :)
And today that little baby has grown up into a man.. a man I am so proud of :)
My Darling Brother.. though you've become a big man.. but to me you are still that small little angel who I love to hold in my arms and play with all day long.. :)
